JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
Our client has created a break-through in applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to investment decision making by Quantitative Funds.  We are looking for an experienced Sales Director in NYC to call on Quantitative Funds and develop a strong pipeline by demonstrating the values of this new cloud-based solution that increases Alpha and improves on existing Quant models.
 
As a Sales Hunter, your success will be driven by your ability to utilize your industry contacts in Quantitative Investing shops and offer a strong analytics solution to increase their Alpha. 
 
If your background is more of a Relationship/Account manager, that would not be suitable for this role.  The compensation for this role offers an aggressive base and commissions plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Drive new sales to develop and close a pipeline of active Quantitative Buy-Side portfolio managers, and research analysts;
  • Sell subscriptions for this AI FinTech Quant service;
  • Work with senior management to drive global sales opportunities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Prior sales to Quantitative Funds  or Hedge Funds, preferably of software-based Analytics and Decision Support services;
  • Minimum: Financial Services software sales background oriented towards Investment Management decision analytics;
  • 7 to 10 years or more of proven Sales Hunter Experience, targeted towards Quant Funds and buy-sides;
  • Excellent contact base at Quant Funds combined with an excellent knowledge of how the buy-side makes investment decisions;
  • Demonstrated skills in closing business and getting access to key decision makers to close deals;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Self-starter and High Energy personality;
  • Ability to travel throughout the US, as required;
  • BS or MBA
